FLYLEAF Confirmed For 'XL'lent Acoustic Xmas'
November 11, 2008FLYLEAF has been confirmed for XL 106.7's XL'lent Acoustic Xmas, set to take place December 14 at the House of Blues in Orlando, Florida. Also scheduled to appear are Colbie Caillat, Natasha Bedingfield and Gavin DeGraw.
FLYLEAF recently entered the studio with producer Howard Benson to begin recording its sophomore album for an early 2009 release. Regarding the band's decision to work with Benson again, Lacey Mosley told Altitude in late September, "There were things we didn't appreciate on the last record that won't be an issue this time around."
FLYLEAF earlier in the year landed a platinum album award for sales of one million copies of the band's self-titled 2005 debut album. The award capped more than two years of touring and promotion that included stints with KORN and the Family Values Tour, as well as two rock radio singles, "I'm So Sick" and "Fully Alive".
